Links

The links provided below are a collection of links that I find useful regarding documentary film production or are links that I just interesting and I will add things to it when I feel like it.

  • The University of Washington (Currently the center of my universe.)
  • blogger.com (One of the easier blogging tools available and it is the one I use for my two blogs.)
  • digg.com (Right now, at least in my opinion digg.com is the best social network site to date, as of 10-20-06)
  • splicemusic.com (Simply put, this maybe one of the most exciting online application tools, i.e. a 'thin client' that I've seen in a while.)
  • Audacity (An excellent and free audio recording tool.)
  • cybercollege.com (A good site that has a series of tutorials that while focused on television production are useful for independent projects.)
  • Liberated Syndication 'libsyn' (If you are interested in getting into podcasting and looking for storage, give this site a look.)
  • Athough only available on the Windows OS (but come to think of it, IntelMacs can be dual-booting) MP3 my MP3 is a very useful tool for grabbing/and or recording audio either from online sources or Skype

About jnh1066 Productions

jnh1066 Productions came about (and continues to exist) as a student based production in company at the University of Washington in 2004 in order to promote my thesis film Half of Anything. Since then, jnh1066 Productions has developed content for public service messages (For the Burke Museum's Dinosaurs of Darkness exhibit), a trailer for a communication conference (Western States Communication Association), and an adaptation of James Welsh's poem, The Day the Children Took Over. Right now, jnh1066 Productions is currently in the planning and working stages of a few projects. For more information on those projects, please check the jnh1066 Productions blog.
